Anautomija is an independent artist whose work is defined by a singular material: Cyme.

Cyme is a liquid material of my own invention — carefully developed over the years, impossible to replicate. Its composition, behaviour, and application method are the intellectual property of Anautomija. No two works made with Cyme are identical, not because of chance, but because of the nature of the material itself.

Works are available to galleries, interior designers, and private collectors — as consignment or direct purchase. Trade inquiries welcome.

The Work

Each painting in the Anautomija catalog is an original, one-of-a-kind work on paper. The layering, depth, and movement you see in every piece emerge directly from the properties of Cyme — a material that exists nowhere else in the world. The paintings are abstract in form, intimate in scale, and conceived as objects that carry both visual and material rarity.

The Work and Its Collector

Every painting is sold as a single original. Once it finds its collector, it is gone. But the work continues to mature long after it is finished, purchased and presented. The collector who chooses Anautomija already suspects this. They are not looking for a statement piece, or something that convinces at first glance. These works don’t start or stop at visual language. What looks resolved is still in motion. The right collector finds themselves looking again, noticing, interconnecting, testing. If that sounds familiar, you and these works have already found each other.

If you are drawn to a work, don’t wait. There are no editions, no reprints, and no second chances.

Occasionally, a few pieces may share similar visual qualities. If a work you were drawn to has already been sold, please get in touch — there may be a kindred piece available. This will not always be the case, but it is always worth asking.

All collections are limited. Style and use of material fluctuate over time. A few paper variants are used, so the effect of the material on the surface differs from piece to piece — despite it always being the same material.

Presentation

Each work is presented framed in an Accent by Nielsen frame, 40 × 30 cm, with anti-reflective True Vue UV 99% glazing. Mounted on a signature monochrome backdrop — a specific colour sourced directly from the artwork’s topology, custom printed, 1/1 — on Moorman Passepartout cardboard, 1.7 mm, UV print. Stored in archive-grade Avos fleece and a Hahnemühle acid-free archival box.

Unframed works are also available upon request — allowing the piece to be presented in a frame of your choosing.

Delivery

Unframed works are shipped directly from the studio, packed with care: glassine paper (100% pure unbuffered cellulose), Avos fleece (museum grade), plastic tube — moisture-resistant and reusable, rigid outer box (23 × 32 × 7 cm). Unframed works can be shipped internationally.

Framed works are delivered in person or collected from the studio. Please get in touch to arrange.
