Return and Refund Policy

1. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you, takes physical possession of the goods.

2. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision by sending a clear written statement to:

Your notification must be sent before the 14-day withdrawal period has expired. We will acknowledge receipt of your withdrawal request by email without delay.

3. Returning the Work

Once you have notified us of your withdrawal, you must return the work to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date you notified us.

Packaging: Each work is shipped in a purpose-made protective tube enclosed in a rigid outer box. We strongly recommend returning the work in both the original tube and outer box, as together they are designed to protect works on paper of this format during transit. If you no longer have the original packaging, you are responsible for ensuring the work is packaged to an equivalent standard — a rigid outer container enclosing a sealed tube is the minimum we consider adequate. Any damage resulting from inadequate packaging will be reflected in a deduction from your refund corresponding to the diminished value of the work.

The Certificate of Authenticity and artist document included with your order must be returned together with the work. Returns received without these documents will be subject to a deduction reflecting their value.

You are responsible for:

• All return shipping costs
• Adequate packaging of the work for transit
• Any loss or damage to the work during return shipping until it is received by us

We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service. We cannot accept liability for works lost or damaged in return transit.

4. Condition of Returned Works

All works must be returned in the same condition as received — unrolled no more than necessary to verify the work, and free from any damage, marks, creases, or deterioration.

We inspect every returned work upon receipt. If the work is returned in a condition that reflects handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature and characteristics, we reserve the right to deduct from your refund an amount corresponding to the diminished value of the work.

Specifically, deductions may apply where:

• The work shows creasing, bending, or surface damage
• The work has been unrolled, handled, or stored improperly
• The work is returned in inadequate packaging, resulting in transit damage
• Any accompanying Certificate of Authenticity or artist document is missing or damaged

In cases of significant damage, the deduction may amount to the full value of the work, in which case no refund will be issued.

5. Refunds

We will process your refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive the returned work, or from the day you provide evidence of having returned the work — whichever is earlier.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method you used for the original purchase, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the refund.

6. Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us at ohno@anautomija.net within 48 hours of delivery with:

• Photographic evidence of the damage to the work
• Photographic evidence of the packaging

We will assess each case individually and offer an appropriate remedy, which may include a partial refund or full refund.

Please note that replacement is not possible. Each work is a unique, single-edition original and cannot be reproduced or substituted. In exceptional circumstances we may be able to suggest a work of similar visual character, but this is not guaranteed and does not form part of our obligations under this policy.

Please do not discard the packaging before contacting us, as it may be required for a courier insurance claim.

8. Legal Guarantee of Conformity

In accordance with EU and UK consumer law (Directive 2019/771/EU and applicable national legislation), all works sold by Meaking AU j.d.o.o. carry a legal guarantee of conformity of 1 (one) year from the date of delivery.

This guarantee covers defects in the work that were present at the time of delivery and not disclosed in the product listing. If a defect covered by this guarantee becomes apparent within the guarantee period, please contact us at ohno@anautomija.net and we will assess the situation and offer an appropriate remedy.

This guarantee does not cover:

• Damage resulting from improper handling, storage, or framing after receipt
• Natural variation in materials inherent to works on paper
• Characteristics disclosed in the product listing at the time of purchase

This guarantee does not affect any statutory rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
