While making these paintings - I do not use paint, and I do not use water. I paint with a unique liquid formulation I developed myself. That liquid is the special sauce of my work.
These paintings are a product of years-long experimentation with materials. My focus is not on the formal aspects of painting. Instead, I aim to present the materials and how they blend and communicate with each other on paper medium. When I paint, I let the material work on its own as much as possible. I see paintings as material pieces.
Due to the special production process, these paintings do have a different aura. They absorb light differently, and they age differently. They look, feel, and smell different. They also impact the space in a whole new way, and that is hard to convey through an internet image.
I recommend framing the painting and hanging it at a spot that needs an energy fix or a boost. We all have that spot in a space that just feels a bit off. Try hanging the painting there. It won't work every time, but I suggest that to be the first place you try.
