"This one is alive. Not metaphorically — something here has cells, roots, edges that reach. And yet it's also very quiet. The kind of quiet that comes after. The pale areas aren't empty — they're held, almost protected, by what surrounds them. Not directed — allowed. Organism, or memory of one?"
The internal condition here is biological — something cellular, quietly alive. Lavender and violet ground with cream zones that feel held rather than empty, surrounded by dark branching marks that reach without directing. The Cyme medium produced an organism-like structure: not composed, but allowed.
Original abstract work on paper. Made with Cyme — inimitable liquid material developed exclusively by the artist. Cyme has its own creative potential. What it produces on each surface is distinct — shaped by the nature of the material as much as by the surface that receives it.
