"Not landscape, not atmosphere — somewhere enclosed, folded in on itself. Like the walls of something that grew rather than was built. You are inside it already. Every edge curves back inward. You follow one form and it folds into the next, which folds into the next. The eye finds no exit."
The internal condition here is enclosed — folded, self-contained, without exit. Deep magenta and purple ground with amorphous dark-edged zones in violet and terracotta that curve back into each other. The Cyme medium built walls rather than surfaces — something that grew rather than was constructed.
Original abstract work on paper. Made with Cyme — inimitable liquid material developed exclusively by the artist. Cyme has its own creative potential. What it produces on each surface is distinct — shaped by the nature of the material as much as by the surface that receives it.
