"You enter from the top. Something broke here, and the break was beautiful. The upper half holds — atmospheric, suspended, threaded with fine lines like cracks in old glaze. Then the ground shifts. Below, it gave way. Massive, saturated, final. The line between them is where the whole work lives — a single streak of yellow marks where the change happened."
The condition here is tectonic — rupture made visible. Periwinkle-blue ground, the upper half suspended and threaded with fine lines, the lower mass saturated and final — a yellow seam marking exactly where the break happened. The Cyme medium held both states on the same surface, separated by a single streak.
Original abstract work on paper. Made with Cyme — inimitable liquid material developed exclusively by the artist. Cyme has its own creative potential. What it produces on each surface is distinct — shaped by the nature of the material as much as by the surface that receives it.
Cyme on paper — 250g — 21 × 29.7 cm — 2026 — unique work — direct from the studio. Signed verso.
Please note: the white border in the image is a digital addition for presentation purposes. The painting is sold unframed.
When framing, museum-grade UV-filtering glass is required. Cyme is a natural material and will fade over time without adequate UV protection.
Sold as a single original. Ships with a Certificate of Authenticity, a valid purchase receipt, an artist statement, and a document unique to this work.
