"Shared territory without agreement. Not a fight. Coral and ash arrive in fragments, in patches, in moments — as interruption, the way a thought interrupts a feeling without cancelling it. The warm swallows the cool. There is tenderness here that is hard to name. You look at this and feel that something was at stake when it was made. A surface that has been through something. Not violence — more like weather. This is what completion looks like when no one intervenes."
The condition here is drift — shared territory. Coral and ash ground, fragments arriving in patches, warm tones absorbing cool ones without displacing them. The Cyme medium moved across the surface the way weather does — without intervention, without conclusion, until it was done.
Original abstract work on paper. Made with Cyme — inimitable liquid material developed exclusively by the artist. Cyme has its own creative potential. What it produces on each surface is distinct — shaped by the nature of the material as much as by the surface that receives it.
Cyme on paper — 300g — 21 × 29.7 cm — 2026 — unique work — direct from the studio. Signed verso.
Please note: the white border in the image is a digital addition for presentation purposes. The painting is sold unframed.
When framing, museum-grade UV-filtering glass is required. Cyme is a natural material and will fade over time without adequate UV protection.
