The warm swallows the cool. There is tenderness here that is hard to name. You look at this and feel that something was at stake when it was made. A surface that has been through something. The condition here is drift — shared territory. Coral and ash ground, fragments arriving in patches, warm tones absorbing cool ones without displacing them. The Cyme medium moved across the surface the way weather does — without intervention, without conclusion, until it was done.
